History
The title men of North Dakota, for a mutual benefit and for better service to their customers, decided to organize a State Association, with final organizational meetings held on July 22, 1919 at Devils Lake, upon invitation of A.W. Dennis. The first officers were:

The name of the Association was originally "The North Dakota Title Men's Association", but was changed to "North Dakota Title Association" in 1942 and to "North Dakota Land Title Association" in 1980.
